This is a solo episode where I talk about my recent experience having anxiety and depression creep back in for a few weeks. I talk about the things I do when I start feeling anxious again. This time I completely tweaked most aspects of my lifestyle. Started exercising 5 times a week, doing sauna, supplementing vitamins, CBD, cut out sugar, caffeine and gluten, did spin classes, yoga, pilates, meditation, weight lifting, running and more. I did anything I could to burn energy and also calm my mind and body. And while I started all this to get feeling better, I've developed a little routine that feels much better than just peeling myself off the bed and going to work.

For the past 10yrs anxiety and depression have been a roller coaster for me, sometimes being a mellow kids ride with little ups and downs and then like recently like a Magic Mountain free fall. This has been some of the most extreme anxiety I've felt in the past 10yrs and it felt really defeating but through taking control and trying to be healthy in all aspects, I've been feeling much better and once again realized that we can't get down on ourselves when these things surface again. We need to put in the work to feeling better cause it won't just disappear on its own.

In this episode I share specifics about these experiences in the past couple of months to hopefully help listeners know that while they may be currently experiencing heavy depression or anxiety, it does pass if we take the wheel and take care of ourselves. I hope you enjoy this hour long rant haha!
